Presentation Format
Selected abstracts will be presented as posters during APCCC 2026. Opening Thursday 30 April at 13:00 in room B2 1st Floor.
Authors are responsible for printing and bringing their poster to Lugano. Set-up and removal times will be communicated closer to the event. Poster template will be sent along with the notification e-mail.
Attendance Requirement
Authors of selected abstracts are expected to attend the event in Lugano in person:
- Thursday, 30 April 2026 – Printed poster set-up before 12:00
- Friday, 1 May 2026 – Poster Walk from 13:05 to 14:30 (during lunch)
We expect that, if the abstract is selected, Authors/Presenters attend the event in Lugano in person or, if unable to attend, ensure that a co-author is present on their behalf.
Complimentary Registration
Free registration for APCCC and IPCS 2026 is offered to the presenting author of each selected abstract.
Abstract Travel Grant
Up to three abstracts submitted from low- or lower-middle-income countries will be selected for a travel grant which covers:
- Travel expenses reimbursed after the event, up to a maximum amount which will be indicated in the notification e-mail.
- Accommodation for a maximum of 4 nights pre-booked by the organization, details will be indicated in the notification e-mail
- Complimentary registration for APCCC and IPCS 2026
Abstract Categories
Abstracts related to the following categories are accepted:
- Advanced prostate cancer (locally advanced or metastatic)
- Management of side effects
- Quality of life / Patient-reported outcomes
- Global access to prostate cancer therapies
Not accepted:
- Trials in progress
- Single-patient case studies
- Abstracts with authors affiliated with industry
Abstracts must present data that have not been published before the submission deadline.
Late-Breaking Abstracts
Late-breaking abstracts can also be submitted by the standard submission deadline of 14 November 2025, 23:59 CET. The placeholder abstracts should include the background information available at the time of submission. If accepted, the full abstract must be submitted by 15 March 2026, following the instructions indicated in the notification of selection.

Publication of the abstracts and E-Posters
Abstracts will not be published in a journal.
E-Posters Gallery will be available to registered participants on the streaming platform.
E-Posters will also be published on www.apccc.org after the event.
